We are seeking a dynamic and enterprising Software Product Manager having experience with complex enterprise software products to join our team based in Orlando, FL. You will be responsible for collecting, understanding, and documenting business requirements and workflows relating to our software products. You will also be responsible for transforming the requirements into well-defined product features and guiding enhancements to our Transcend Robot Execution Platform – the software that makes our robotic solutions possible. This is a work-from-home position, but some travel to Tompkins’ offices and customer sites may be required.
Responsibilities:

Document product requirements gathered from stakeholders, engineers, and customers

Create product workflows for features

Create epic level tickets to define product roadmap features

Work closely with product managers, engineering leads, and the customer service team to understand product capabilities and future needs

Foster the process of feature design, scope and sizing, user story definition, and delivery

Maintain close engagement with the full life cycle of product feature development

Collaborate with others in an agile development environment

Assist with product roadmap definition and refinement

Interact with prospects and customers to understand needs and assess product value

Assist with product feature demos

Explain and visualize product features and business requirements to others

Connect product features to business outcomes
Specific Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (or equivalent)

3+ years’ experience as a business analyst, product owner, or in a process automation-oriented role dealing with enterprise software

Self-starter with strong organizational and task management skills
-
Experience using agile management tools (Jira) to create work tickets and monitor development progress

Ability to work effectively with remote, distributed teams in a dynamic, fast-paced startup culture

Exposure to agile product development, scrum, and user experience (UX)

Any exposure to automation, warehouse management or control/execution systems is a big plus

Experience with Behavior Driven Development preferred

A high-level understanding of APIs, communication protocols, and message-oriented applications is a plus
